Stuff...

Well we did "stuff" today.. Actually got dressed.. got out of the house..replenished our vitamin D. Running errands with two 8 year olds isn't always fun but they really are pretty good sports about it.. First we went here..
Ahh TJ's, one of my most favorite places to go. We always come home with something new, like these..TDF... Drop everything and go out and get some...seriously!!

And now at least we have food in the house :). 

Cole wanted to make ROCK candy when we got back so he checked out "Howcast" or whatever it's called, on his computer and got the video instructions. Not that it is sooooo hard to make but he really enjoyed showing me the video! So this is what we came up with...No color, no flavor AND we need to wait 10 days for it to be done but he was really excited to make it. And now he checks it every hour ;)

But the fun didn't end there. Oh no, there's MORE!! Kelsey and John (the Brit) came by and we decided to make snow globes!! Oh yes, you heard right, SNOW GLOBES in August.... We live on the edge here ;). Kelsey and Cole were really committed to making their globe...

Just kidding!! John and I worked tirelessly helping Drew with his globe. It's hard work, doing all this "stuff" but after yesterday's day of LAZINESS we found the strength to persevere!! And look how purty!!

It was a super fun day! It's always great to see Kelsey and we sorta like the British guy she has with her ;). And tomorrow...oh yes tomorrow...we go to the Apple Store!!!! Cole wants to check out Mac OS X Lion. Yes really..my 8 year old wants to "check out" an operating system!! WHO IS THIS KID!!?? The love of my life, that's who! Along with that crazy twin sidekick of his :)..also the love of my life..

Alright, well off to have a glass of cheap wine and some dark chocolate... Ahhhhh the life...
