OMG it's Tuesday and I haven't blogged!!

Silly I know.. and I really have NOTHING interesting to blog about. We did survive Irene but parts of town didn't fare so well...

This is our local park... The storm was not nearly as bad as predicted but still did some pretty incredible damage. , Rivers crested above flood stage, roads were closed from flooding, basements flooded, trees down and power went out. Our little home came through with a bit of water in the basement but we kept power the entire time. I am forever grateful that Irene was kind to us :)
So trying to get the boys ready...school starts next week and we have our bestest "cousin" Kelsey moving in!!!(Don't fret Jenny, you are our bestest "real" cousin!!) YAY... Spent some time getting her room together :)

And a final trip to IKEA before the summer ends...

With Kelsey and John (the Brit)... went early...had breakfast CHEAP and the boys got some ball pit time.. :)

So there, nothing earth-shattering... pretty boring over here in B-field.. no butterflies or unicorns... but no yelling F*CK either!! Ahhh life is good.. Be well all :)


P.S. Did anyone notice Drew is wearing a different hat?? Yes it's true... we have moved on from the "Mario" hat (for now) to a plain o' baseball cap!!! Now maybe THAT'S earth-shattering!!!
